Mountaineering in high altitude is difficult to execute and, if the mountains are steep, death is an ultimate result.Famous as an adventurous sports, there is a risk in it therefore preparation is most.To perform mountaineering mountaineers are always required to be prepared for safety. There are some essential itenaries before going on mountaineering to be safe,to be back to share your story.To be safe all you need to do is check your baggage and see if any important items that are listed below are missing.
1.Maps\Compass
Although you may claim that these gadgets are within your grasp but you must realize that all maps doesn't give a mapping,All compass will not show proper direction therefore it must be genuine so choose the best mapping map and best compass even if they may cost high but there is nothing that is more valuable than our life right.
2.Headlamp\flashlight (illumination)
Must poses any of the illuminating factor to get proper direction.Choose flashlight having high intensity and more battery back up.It is very helpful for mountaineers to spot the way.
3.Sunscreen\Sunglasses
Climate in mountains are not to be predicted it changes frequently.In that altitude UV rays impact will be higher so it is better to wear sunglasses.Sunglasses are very important to protect your eyes where as sunscreen makes your skin gets protected from UV.While making use of sunscreen ask experts about it but most of them will be recommending for SPF 30.
4.Fire
Even if you have a flashlight with you it is not there for you to give warmth.Otherwise if you have forgotten to bring a fire with you it sure that your chance for survival will also be forgotten.
Firecracker is most useful tool to build a fire.Water proof firecracker.But most importantly do not make yourself in a situation to lit a fire because it is hard to retain the fire for long in freezing cold environment.
5. Repairer Kits
Knifes(foldout blade), Snow hammer to hammer ice for a grip,Duct tape,Ice Axe all these are required to make a safe landing while completing the task.Here, the task refers to climbing the mountain.
6.Nutrition
It is difficult to carry out mountain climbing which requires high amount of calories to perform.To obtain calories mountaineers always need to bring food items along with them.Such food items that provides high energy level and fast digesting. Jelly food items are good to take.
7.First Aid
In an emergency it's input is immense.No one can deny the importance of the first aid in any difficult situation.The cuts and bruises should easily be treated with the available medic.Altitude sickness ,thermal sickness are major health problem that is most likely to occur.Band-aids,mosquito repellent gel are never to be forgotten
8. Emergency Shelter
Tube tent ,sleeping bag,tart are required. To give your self a thermal this is the best option.Make sure that your sleeping bag has the thermal of 20 degree.
