Checklist to Move office to New Location

Office Move Checklist

While moving an office form one place to other we tend to forget many things that we had kept in our  wish-list.This article is a reminder.
  1. First make a list of criteria that you want for your new office.
  2. Make a contact to Real State Agent for further information.
  3. Make a schedule to visit potential locations.
  4. Make a contact with landlord to cancel lease duration.
  5. Fix dates to move and make a contact to movers(moving company).
  6. Talk to your managers for financial advice for moving budget.
  7. Negotiate your new lease.
  8. Make a contract with new landlord.
  9. Talk to inventory manger for inventory listing for moving and replacing office equipment.
  10. Check leased machines and check it for cancellation or transferring.
  11. Pack all the items by listing and boxing.
  12. Make a floor plan for new office.
  13. Check for painting,if needed paint it before moving.
  14. Check for hording board location.
