Do app store reviews really matter when it comes to search ranking?

When it comes to linking with search keywords it matters. However, reviews are not only the standar that app store includes in for search optimization. Indeed this is a part of all other factors to rank an app in an app store. Andriod app developers has to buid applications in a way to increase more engagement rather than focusing on downloads. More the users activity better will be the search ranking.
Users activities includes updates, reviews and engagement time within the app. Moreover, mobile applications users usally are attracted not beacause of downloads rather they go with the comments.
